The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) is comprised of seven regions, which are based on the regional structure of the World Health Organisation:

• Europe
• North America
• South and Central America
• South East Asia
• Western Pacific

The mission of the International Diabetes Federation is to work with the member associations to enhance the lives of people with diabetes worldwide.
