Question asked by: Joe (52) ---NSW

Question: I am a carer for a person who can not administer insulin himself. What should i do if i accidental stick myself with a needle.

Answer:

Hello. Thank you for your question to the forum.

While there are a number of products available that can reduce the risk of needle-stick injury, may I suggest that you contact the Australian Diabetes Council on 1300 342 238 and request to speak to a Diabetes Educator.

This is so that this matter can be discussed in greater detail than is possible on a website forum.
